25 Years

HERE'S TO TEN MORE!!!

Twenty-five years have come and gone,

Since we said “I do”!

Has it really been that long?

Some said; “They’ll never last!”

Words never heard, we just kept holding fast;

The years with you have been so sublime,

And yes, to you have been very kind;

We’ve seen trials, triumph, had hope and sometimes fears,

We’ve shared good-times, laughed and even shed some tears;

They say time flies when you’re having fun,

Only God knows how often we both wanted to run;

Yet, here we are in the midst of the mayhem and passion of this life,

Still holding each other’s hand making it through the storms and strife;

There’s only One reason we’re still in this race,

You and I both know it’s All because of God’s grace;

So, with these few words,

Let this voice be heard;

Christi, I love you my dear, with all of my heart,

Like the preacher said;

“Til death do us part!”

Now, I’m sitting here waiting for you to walk through the door,

Anticipating, 

Believing Father
